New for 2025 - The Gift of the Magi

I am delighted to announce the completion of my most recent composition, ‘The Gift of the Magi’

World Premier in December 2025 by The Banbury Symphony Orchestra

Specially written for the Banbury Symphony Orchestra, who have premiered two of my previous works, ‘The Gift of the Magi’, is an absolute cracker!

The story, adapted by my good friend Matthew Lockyer, also from Suffolk, is set in New York at the time of the Wall Street Crash. Full of musical styles from that era, and combined with familiar Christmas carols, this is bound to please any audience. And I am sure the orchestra will love playing the 12-bar blues too!

My thanks to Paul Willet, who will conduct the orchestra, and Jonathan Rowe, who will provide the narration.
